**** nobody is perfect ! But this barrel came ahead of schedule , dropped in @ the range and shot really well. discussing groups would only reveal MY weaknesses but this was well worth the meager investment. I love it !!

Shoots cast bullets well but they must be around 180 grain. 175 gr Jim Stinar bullets are very accurate but the 140''s leave a little bit more to ask for. The barrel fit to the slide was very good. And yes I bought this barrel mainly to shoot cast bullets.

Dropped right in without any fitting and immediately tightened my groups up by one to two inches. No failures to feed or slide issues. Have shot 500 rounds through with no hiccups.
