Siderlock Glock User Installed Manual Safety
Glock® pistols are known for the ease and speed in which the pistol can be fired, and it is those very capabilities that require greater precautions when the pistol is not holstered or not in a position to be safely fired. Glocks® own built-in safety futures combined with the SIDERLOCK® trigger is the perfect combination to provide improved gun handling safety.
The Glock® pistol has a combination of three automatic safety features (trigger safety, firing pin safety and drop safety), which are sequentially disengaged when the trigger is pulled. The central pivot of the trigger is the first safety mechanism to disengage when the trigger is pulled and therefore the most important.
The safety pin of the SIDERLOCK® trigger is a precise positioning system and when engaged blocks the movement of the central pivot avoiding an accidental discharge of the weapon.
Once the SIDERLOCK® trigger is installed on the pistol, firing is accomplished by sliding the safety pin to the left prior to pulling the trigger. Preventing firing is obtained by simply sliding the safety pin to the right (Right hand Shooter assumed). This action is displayed in the animation at the left.
For left-handed shooters, simply remove and invert the safety pin using the tools and instructions provided with the SIDERLOCK® trigger.
SIDERLOCK® trigger offers the option of keeping the pistol in its original firing configuration simply by not engaging the lock.
No matter which position the slide is in it never extends beyond the trigger guard, avoiding any accidental contact with the holster ether inserted or withdrawn.

TGS is the best place to find Glock accesories. This trigger lock is great, easy installation, quality product. I''ve installed then on all my Glocks. Now I don''t feel the burdon of carrieing unchambered. Or uncomfotable carrieing cocked and unlocked. I mean why carry if you can''t carry loaded. I wish they made one for my M&P.

First off, this review is for installation only at this time. I was somewhat surprised how easy the Siderlock trigger was to install. The hardest part was getting all the pins and holes to line up to get them inserted when putting it all back together. After looking at the way they wanted the pin driven out and some saying the triggers were breaking, I decided to take a different approach. I tap on the pin just enough to get it to start bulging the plastic out on the right side. Using the proper size punch with a sharp squared off shoulder, I then drove it out from the right side of the trigger. The sharp punch and the fact it was the perfect size, cut the plastic nicely and the pin drove right out. So I got lucky, the trigger didn’t break and makes it reusable at a future time. I''ve cycled the action a several dozen times, the trigger feels very good, just like it was before. After some more practice, putting the safety to off will be second nature I''m sure. So far it seems like a very nice product. I will know more once I’ve had a chance to shoot it.

This product exceeded my expectations. Great craftsmanship and seems to be very durable. I wish I would have bought this years ago.
